NaviLens: FAQS
What is NaviLens?
NaviLens is a colourful box code designed as a free, unique, and inclusive navigational tool for people with sight loss, partial sight, or visual impairment. NaviLens is intended to help people find their way independently around public spaces such as train stations, museums, and galleries--and of course libraries--through providing accessible audio guidance.
The NaviLens app can be found on both Android and Apple operating systems. The app has built features, such as audio cues and vibrations, that can aid navigation. NaviLens is also suitable for users who have English as a secondary or other language, as NaviLens is automatically translated into the language setting on the user’s phone.

Why have we chosen NaviLens?
We have chosen NaviLens in line with our commitment to ensuring accessibility and inclusivity. We strive to ensure our Library spaces are accessible safe spaces for all users, and we are confident that NaviLens will help aid Library users around our vibrant and welcoming Library sites.
Upon visiting our London Central site, you will see that we have a range of NaviLens codes in place marking various navigational points such as Ground Floor entrances and exits, lifts, bathrooms, and printers.
How do I use NaviLens?
