Pride Month is here! 🎉🌈This year, we are collaborating with the BPP Students' Association to make our annual 'Read with Pride 365' Pride Month campaign bigger, bolder, and prouder than ever! As a Stonewall Diversity Champion, we are delighted to promote the inclusive values of Pride month and represent the LGBTQ+ community through our BPP Library Great Reads collections of fiction and nonfiction.

Here's a little more information courtesy of the BPP Students' Association webpage:

'[Read with Pride 365 is] a staff and student-led celebration of LGBTQIA+ literature, voices, and experiences.

We’re inviting both staff and students to share their favourite LGBTQIA+ books, poems, songs, films, and personal reflections to help build an inclusive and expressive creative community. Whether it’s a novel that moved you, a poem that inspired you, or a graphic novel that made you feel seen - we want to hear from you.

Your contributions will be featured on a dedicated Pride Month page on the Students' Association and Library [Blog] websites, alongside curated resources from the Library’s Read with Pride 365 collection. This collection includes a wide range of LGBTQ+ works -fiction, nonfiction, poetry, graphic novels, dyslexia-friendly titles, and more - all free to borrow as standard loans.

All genres are welcome, and all voices are valued. LGBTQIA+ staff and students and allies alike are encouraged to participate.'
